Mysore Palace

Mysore has been a frequented destination for me.There too,the Palace(main) attracts me so much.I have shot it many times. The outcomes are posted here.

My priorities are naturally, saturated sky, rich golden domes,Majestic structures and if available rich green.

Though this is not my preferred angle, sometimes tradition rules.

There is a saying "Elephant in Elbow"-trying to accommodate the breadth in a single shot.

A step towards palace tells the glory.

Temple of sri Shweta Varaaha Swamy.

The Beige contrasts with blue.

The patterns of the structure captured my attention.

Greenery with Big gate.

Frames within a frame.

Long corridor guarded by pillars.

Outer garden seen through frame.

Lamp post competing with the main gate.

 Twist in the path- Elevates?

Entrance to the corridor.

A dash of red dominates the overall tonal balance.

Blue  shelter for beige structures.

Little flowers bring life to the scene.

Lamp posts illustrating discipline?

Temple of Shiva.

The green of the garden compliments the blue of the sky.

No!!! not the royal Howdah. It is one of the shrines atop the palace.

A simple alignment brings the setting Sun behind front shrine- Indicating end of the day.
